VBS Day 4- Moses Splits the Sea/Water fight!!!

Well good morning and Happy Tuesday!!!! Last week was our VBS and boy was it a long one! By day 4 I was the last soldier standing....all my volunteers, with the acception of a few, bailed on me! I was so happy I had off Friday and could relax kid free from a long week! Anyhoo, we did a brief flip book of Moses splitting the sea.....I said brief because they all knew we were having a water balloon fight. VBS Day 3- Jesus Calms the Sea

Last night we learned about Jesus calming the sea. I had all the kids sit down like they were in a boat and sway from side to side on certain parts of the story. My dad was the nominated one to read, I am not good at public speaking.....even in front of kids :) They made a little sea in the bag that they could squish and feel the sea moving. VBS Day 2- Jonah and the Whale

Last night the kids learned about Jonah and the whale. Let me tell you this story led into so many other stories because they were getting Jonah confused with Adam and other men from the bible. It was another successful night! The kids made a whale out of brown paper bags and we made Jonah out of pipe cleaner. We stuffed the whale with newspaper and Jonah went inside as well. VBS Day 1- Fishers of the Sea
