 My family recently moved to a new area about 10 minutes up the highway. We now live in a cul-de-sac. Let me tell you that living in a cul-de-sac isnt the same as living on a normal street with neighbors to your right and left and the folks across the street. My fun group of crafty friends got together to make Taryn's centerpieces for her wedding. Were always looking for fun ideas for a craft party and thought this was perfect!  So last week was Teacher Appreciation week. The kids wanted to participate and they should…their teachers deserve it! Well seeing as there are 5 kids at my house, I didn’t want to do a gift a day. So our little one made it to state with her gymnastics team. It is such a great feeling to cheer Nevaeh on while she is giving her all performing . During our week of fasting at our church we did several ministries. One of them was we all donated items to make Blessing Bags. The requested items were: toothbrush, deodorant, baby wipes, socks, water, granola bar, scarf etc. At the end of the fast once all the items were assembled in a gallon zip lock baggy, each member walked out of church with one bag. Madelyn had a Christmas party at daycare "School" and I didn't want to give out a bag filled with candy and Santa on the front. I wanted the kids to remember what Christmas is really about. This past weekend we had Madelyn's 4th birthday party. Dora is yesterday's news and she is now into Princess and Barbies. I wasnt for sure what to do for her goody bags besides glue a big princess face to the front of a paper bag.
