Wall Letters for the girls….

Its seems like there is always something else I want to make for the girls rooms. I actually think I need to knock down some walls to add more space…yeah Jacob would kick my butt if I threw that option out there! I love wall letters and I feel that it marks a person territory in a space with a fun touch. I created Nevaeh and Madelyn’s names and made each one fit their personality. I must admit that I bought the materials to make them and they literally sat in my craft room for months….I am a procrastinator…I know…I know….im working on it! Here is what I came up with for our little ones…

For Nevaeh’s name we went with purple and blue to add some good bold color to those bright green walls she has. As I have mentioned before, Neveah is our modern day hippie so she chose the peace sign ribbon. Her letters were super easy because they were already colored and drenched in glitter; all I had to do was add the ribbon. I cant wait to put these on her wall and see her finished room all together. Each piece I add to her room little by little is like putting puzzle together….the end result is beautiful!

Madelyn’s room is pink and brown with brown being the base color on her walls. I painted the letters pink so they would pop out on the wall with brown accents. I attempted to put some fun ribbon on them but as I was doing it I realized “how in the heck and I going to get 2 pieces of ribbon to hang on her L???” So, out with the ribbon and I am going to literally stick them to her wall. I really did end up liking this idea better because it’s a simple elegance. I must admit I love using buttons!

Thanks again Mel for taking all my photos!
