Craft Party- Adding Pattern to Coasters or Plates

I have been so fortunate to find a group of girls that share the same love and passion for being creative. About every other month or so we get together and have craft parties, dinner or white elephant parties. Our most recent party was a crafty party held at one of the girl’s apartment and it was SO much fun. She picked a craft from “Big Ass Book of Crafts” book and it was a great choice!

We made decorative coasters and plates. I am SO glad that we did this project because it cleared the smoke of my confusion for what I was going do on some of my future projects.

Here are some pictures of the girls and our fun we had. I truly love you girls and I enjoy all the time we spend together! Thank you so much for being my support and motivation in my creative journey; I am so glad that you are a part of it!

This was Team A. From left to right: Priscilla, Leslie, Becca and Taryn.

This was our Team B.  From left to right: Elsa, Denise, Nikki (our Martha Stewart), me and Araceli.

Here is one of the group pictures minus Pris.

Another group picture with Pris now.

Ok, so we added some wine to the party…..hey it makes our creative minds run wild. Here are  more of the girls at work.

These are Martha’s….I mean Nikki’s billion plates waiting to dry. You can see the lace she used beside her plates and just wait to see how the final outcome looks!

Ta-dahh….this is just one of them. Her plates looked amazing! She had so many with different color combo’s. Nikki you truly are an amazing designer!

These are Priscilla’s coasters…I love the color she chose and she decided to use a fun wall paper for her design. Very nice Pris!

Taryn made Halloween coasters; so cute! I love how these came out and will be a piece you can pull out each Halloween!

If you cant guess then these are my coasters. I wanted to make some personal coasters I could use at work. The patterned coaster was done with 2 layers of spray paint mistakes and then a final coat with a layer that worked.

Leslie made a super fun party tray. If you know Leslie you know she is a party animal and well talks like a sailor. This tray fits her perfect! You rock girlfriend!

And this was how Taryn’s front entry looked when we were done. We gave her neighbors a fare warning that its not our fault if they get high!

Sorry ladies that all of your work didnt get put on here but some where along the way from the party, to my house to my computer some pictures grew legs and walked off my memory card! I cant wait for our next gathering! All of you are so gifted and I am so glad that we can bounce  ideas off each other and make us all better designers!

Thanks Vicky…im glad I could inspire you. One of my friends and my sister put the fire in my butt to get mine started. You should go to blogspot.com to get a free blog; my blog wasnt free and I hired a web designer. Good luck! The hardest part is getting it started then its smooth like a babies bottom from there :)
