So our little one made it to state with her gymnastics team. It is such a great feeling to cheer Nevaeh on while she is giving her all performing . She is truly a talented girl and has a love for the sport. Madelyn is following in her foot-steps participating in the younger class. I wanted to share a few pictures of her meet this past month.

With out these ladies our team wouldn’t be as amazing as they are. I give both coaches mad props because this is a side job for them. Coach Amanda works full time and coaches 4-5 nights a week AND she is married so she has a hubby that supports her back at home Coach Tamiye is a senior at school. HELLO can you remember being a Senior….coaching kids would have been the last thing on my mind! She is an amazing gymnast herself and is selfless enough to spread the talent to our girls!

 

Since the coaches did such an amazing job all season, the team moms wanted to make them something special. With some research from Pinterest I gathered some good ideas. This is what I came up with for the coaches.

 

The quotes were “Thanks for PEI’ng the WEI to state” and “We are so FORTUNATE for coaches like you”.

The straw hat was a card all the girls signed. I had to have Madelyn hold it up to her head so I could prove it looked like a straw hat lol!

 

I am claiming it now…..Nevaeh will be in the Olympics!!!! As long as she continues to love the sport and has the drive….she has the skills to take her there!!!!!!!!! We are so proud of her and she is a great role model to her little sister and cousins that are in gymnastics also
