This past weekend my crafty friends and I got together for another one of our awesome craft parties. I only get to see this group about 4 times a year so when we do see each other it is a wild day!! Were all in the same Interior Design field so that is our common factor but we all have SUCH different back grounds BUT we click so well!!!! Love them! This party was thrown by Leslie aka Lester at her casa. Thank goodness for me she lives only 10 minutes from my house! Her theme was a Christmas. We all had to bring our favorite Christmas dish, a bottle of wine covered so we couldnt see the label- the winner of the best wine won a gift and the craft was decorating glass ornaments with paint. She did this last year and we all loved how her balls came out so this was a craft we all wanted to try. If we have a friend that we think will be a good fit with the group we bring them in for the party so you will see some new faces :)

From left to right- Leslie, the host, her friend I think her name is Janice…or something with a J lol and Taryn. We go by Tar-Laina….we have a inside joke that she is my baby daddy so that is our name together!

Taryn won the best tasting wine so she got a “Wine-O” gift. We also have these gag paintings and pictures that we disguise in gifts or wrap them up. She got the “drinking partner” photo along with some good drinking stuff. At the next party she will some how pass this ugly picture to someone else!

These were done with the frosted balls. She even found a fun flask shaped ornament!

 

 

You can tell the each set is made from a different designer! You really didnt know what your balls were going to do. Here are my final balls!

My tree is blue, red and silver. I tried to make these the same color but like I said these balls have a mind of their own lol! The balls to the left are done with iridescent balls and the balls on the right are done with regular clear glass.

Here is a close up of a iridescent ball. Seriously you cant go wrong with these. Even if its ugly the iridescent makes it look pretty!!!! Sure wish this was an opt for so many things in life!!!!!!

Well the next party will be in March. Priscilla and I are throwing a “Favorite Green Things” party since its our birthday month!!!!!! Have a great week!
