Celina’s Office Make-over

I was hired by Celina Gomez to redo her home office. She is a professional wedding photographer that offices inside of her home. The current state of her home is already in good shape but certain areas needed more attention than others. Our focus was to give her living room, stairs leading to the office, hall and restroom a face lift. Her actual office where she holds consultations and small shoots was a full design project.

Celina’s office was an empty shell with only two small working areas. She needed her office to serve as her work area, which she spends more then 8 hours a day in, and a consultation area when clients come over. Her company and style of work is elegant, sheek, simple, clean with a modern touch so I wanted to bring this out in her office. Her company colors are pastel green and orange on a white pallet. I wanted to carry these colors into her office so they would represent her company online as well as in her office.

Her initial budget was $700 for the room but we did go over by about $400 because we decided to add new wood blinds, had to have accessories and shelving in her closet. The total cost for her office make over with furniture, accessories, fabric and paint was $1,100.

I have to give my wonderful future husband so much credit because he is my handy man!!!!! He helped out so much with the installation of the ceiling tracking, assembling furniture, painting and tonight for his final touch he will be installing the closet shelving and blinds. Heck it makes me think what did I do in the office :)

Here are the before pictures of her office. Notice the accent wall- this was her old logo color. She had a ceiling fan hanging in the middle of the room, mix match working stations and a not so ergonomic task chair. She has two large 80″ closets with out closet doors and have been used as a catch all area in the room.

This is the back wall of the room and shows the entrance into her office.

This was the current state of her closets.

NOW….lets take a peek at how her office looks right now :)

I am going to keep my thoughts and process for my final post but this is a sneak peek of her office as of  TODAY.

Stay tuned for the final post coming very soon along with her living room and other public areas.

Thank you Celina for hiring me to help you in such a personal part of your every day life.
