As a kid I was always fully aware of the seasons and holidays we were in becuase my mom would decorate the house accordingly. These memories put a warm feeling inside of me becuase they would hype me up to the day of the holiday or prepare me for the cold/warm weather. I want the girls to get the same feeling I got as a kid.

So, with that being said, I begun my Halloween decorating inside and out of my house. It hasnt happened as quick as I would like because October has already been so busy for me. This is like the rough draft of my decorating.

Lets start with the exterior of my house. I want it to look like a haunted house with graves, spider webs and z…z…z…zombies!!! So far I have only added spider webs to my posts which was a huge challenge becuase they are not wood so I couldnt pin the web to them. Dont laugh but I hot glued them to the metal posts. They still need some work as the wind has beaten them up. I made the spiders out of a foam ball and black pipe cleaners. Here is what it looks like so far…stay tuned for what else I am adding this weekend!

This is all I have done so far in the interior of my house. Nevaeh LOVES to help decorate and she was my right hand lady when messing with the spider webs. I will tell you that all these glass figurines is torture for Madelyn not to be able to touch them. She already broke a piece off one of them!

My house is far from done and I feel like I am behind for the month already but hopefully I will finish this weekend. I hate to do all this decorating and only be able to enjoy it for a week or so.
